かなり前のことですが、ネットで調べものをしていて、結果的にバラク・オバマ・ドット・コムにメール・アドレスを登録することになりました。

すると大統領から1週間に何回かメールが来ます。

米国人ではこのようにオバマ大統領からメールを受け取る人はたくさんいるのでしょうし、ほとんどの場合、どこまで大統領が目を通しているのかも明らかではありません。

でも今朝来たメールは大統領自身が書いたような気がします。
